Ellison & Son on verso of each cover. Inside is a metal bar with grommets holding 49 swatches (4 1/2 x 7") of splendid patterned worsted cloth, with reference number at rear. John B. Ellison & Son was a wholesale woolen firm and cloth business founded in Philadelphia in 1823 by John B. Ellison. Binding and interior in very good condition.
