First state of the first edition, with binding number 1 [BAL 3378]. Final leaf with Twain's "Certificate, with verso carrying his "Mark Twain Patent Scrap-Books." Interior contents clean and fresh, blue endpapers, nicks to backstrip extremities and corners.
