Santa Fe: The University of New Mexico Press, 1943. First edition. Paperback. Very Good/Very good. 73pp. Thin quarto [30.5 cm] Tan printed wraps. Reinforced hinges (as issued). Title page with previous owner's name and a date in pen along with small area of adhered paper remains. In the dust wrapper designed by Merle Armitage, trimmed just a hair short, and with sporadic shallow closed tears in the edges. The most prominent tears are at the foot of the jacket's spine, measuring just under 1". With 26 plates. Drawings by the Author.

A study of one of the least known of the several crafts practiced by the Pueblo Indians of New Mexico and Arizona.
