Garden City, NY: Doubleday & Company, 1983. First Edition. 2 volume set. 522, 534pp. Quartos [32 cm] Brown cloth with the titles gilt stamped on the backstrips. Housesed in a brown cloth slipcase. Better than very good in like slipcase. Illustrated work on the culture, craft, and ceremonials of the Pueblo peoples. Thomas E. Mails (1920-2001) was a painter, illustrator and writer. He was born in California and studied at California College of Arts and Crafts and Luther Seminary School. He is best known for painting and illustrating Native American culture and the Southwest.
