About This Item
London: Macmillan and Co, 1906. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good/No Dustjacket. Millar, H. R.. London: Macmillan and Co., 1906. First edition. Gold gilt top on head of pages. With 4 page catalog of other works by Kipling and then current releases from contemporary authors. With 20 illustrations by H. R. Millar.
Ex-library copy with stamp inside front cover and embossed stamp on bottom corner of title page. Boards have light rubbing at edges and corners, some minor soiling. Name and date written in pencil on free facing end page. Text is unmarked. Bottom corners of 16 pages from title page on have been trimmed - looks like the bottom of the library embossment might have affected those pages. The first four pages have small tears at the spine join, about an inch and a half. Otherwise binding is solid and sound.
