About This Item
Our Bookstore Publishing Institute - Warsaw, 1974. Hardcover. Good. IN POLISH. Published by "Our Bookstore," is the oldest publisher of children's and educational books in Poland. The title of the book translates to "Birds of Warsaw." . The text of the book was written by Maciej Luniak and Wiktor Pawlowski, with photography by Barbara Siemaszko and Alojzy Sawadzki. The dust jacket has taken a beating over the years. It's torn, worn, crimped, scraped, and foxed. We have placed a clear archival jacket over the original DJ to prevent additional damage. Gray cloth boards. Front board has the title of book in black lettering. Edges of boards are discolored/tanned. Dented corner tips. Lightly bumped heel of spine. Foxing on upper text block, and text block is yellowed all the way around. Paste downs and end pages are yellowed with darker yellowing in hinge and outside edges. All of the pages have yellowed. There is splitting in the gutters at the binding in several of the sections. Book is very readable. 140pps.
