No edgewear to covers or spine. Bumping to top corners, V1. Binding square and sound. Quarto. Volume I was first published as Psychological Studies on Zen I, Bulletin of the Faculty of Literature of Kyushu University, Vol. 11, 1968. It is a collection of the results of research carried out at the Psychological Institute of Kyushu University under the direction of Prof. Yoshiharu Akishige and republished together with Psychological Studies on Zen II in 1977. Volume II is a collection of the results of research carried out by the Psychological Laboratory of the Komazawa University Zen Institute, also under the direction of Prof. Yoshiharu Akishige.
