Engraved head-pieces and initials, shoulder notes. HARDCOVER, bound in contemporary full mottled calf, spine with gilt tooled raised bands between gilt compartments, marbled endpapers, red sprinkled edges, green ribbon marker, some abrasion marks to leather on upper cover, minor evidence of worm activity at foot of spine and at utmost margin of first few leaves. In fine condition. Handsome copy with rather bright, crisp interior. ~ First French edition. "Psychologia Empirica" was first published in Germany, in 1732. In 1756 a second French edition was published (J. Schreuder, Amsterdam). Freiherr von Johann Christian Wolff (1679-1754). B-1
