Publishers' midnight blue cloth with gilt titles to spine in unclipped printed orange and yellow dust-jacket. Spine tips a little creased and upper corner of upper board bruised; contents clean and crisp, with minor pencil annotation to rfep and slight foxing to upper edge of textblock. Jacket very slightly spine sunned, with nicks & creases at spine tips and remains of price sticker to front flap. A Near Fine copy in Very Good jacket. Fifth and final volume of the series, the standard work on the subject. Nicoll was a pioneer of British psychological medicine who studied the inner meaning of Christian ideas.
