San Francisco: Jessica Colbert , 1923. First US Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Fair/N/A. Signed by author.. In tan boards with black panel containing author's initials in gilt. Spine is white with title in gilt. Dings tops of boards with bumps to bottom corners and top of spine. Rubbing through boards mostly at corners. Some scuffing, marks and scars. Small dark stain to top corner of front pastedown and top edge of front page ends for first several pages. Two 1 1/2 inch tears to top of title page and page prior, likely due not cutting top page ends well. Signed by author to ffep. Deckle edge. Stated 'Five Hundred Copies Printed - March MCMXXIII - Copy No.' with no copy number listed, so likely a test proof or reject copy.
