Good+. 14.5 Cm x 22.5 Cm. xv+359, ex-New College Oxford lib. with their cancelled & lib.no.marked heraldic plate fr.pastedown, early square red stamps top t.p., preface & contents page, intermittent eraseable pencil marginal lines/ occ. underlining but one instance of an ink line & underlining; margins sl.browning throughout, end gutters sl.opening but firm, marbled pastedowns, endpapers and edges. Covers rubbed at sp.ends (worse at top) and some surface rubbing, gilt dec.panelled sp.with good labels, gilt dentelle edges. Despite faults an attractive and acceptable copy of this significant work, long overlooked by historians of Psychology, anticipating mid-20th century interest in reasoning and cognition.
