A lovely first edition copy of Osbert Lancaster's Progress at Pelvis Bay, illustrated beautifully by the author. A first edition copy of Osbert Lancaster's of the fictional Seaside town Pelvis Bay. The volume traces the development of a flourishing seaside resort and is beautifully illustrated by the author. Osbert Lancaster was an English cartoonist, architectural historian and author who was a contributor to the Architectural Review.In the original clipped dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart indeed with some light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original dust wrapper which is smart with some fading to the wraps and spine and some light chipping to the head of the spine. Near Fine
