The detailed account of the metamorphosis of a fictitious seaside town from poverty stricken fishing village to flourishing resort. Osbert Lancaster uses his words and illustrations to enable the reader to follow the architectural changes. Dust jacket is age toned, particularly to spine. A small nick to jacket at head of spine. Illustrated endpapers with small previous owner's name to front. Inside pages very fresh and clean. Overall in good condition. 68 pages. 200 x 145 mm (7¾ x 5¾ inches).
