Boston: Bostonian Society, 1905. Paperback. Very Good. 94 p., color frontispiece, 1 leaf of a map: tables; 24 cm. Light green wrapper; black wrapper title with Bostonian Society emblem. With: yellow sheet listing publications of the Society for sale, and a small slip requesting members of the Society to inform the clerk of any error in name in membership lists or post office address. Pages are unopened and un trimmed. The Bostonian Society was established in 1881 to preserve the Old State House. It has been successful in that first mission and in its expanded historic preservation activities. In 2020 it merged with the Old South Association to form Revolutionary Spaces. This issue of the Society's proceedings contains various annual reports; lists of donations, members, and officers; and "Boston One Hundred Years Ago" by Walter Kendall Watkins. Scarce in the original wrapper. In Very Good Condition: wrapper is soiled, with loss at edges; pages and plates are clean and solid.
