Small folio. 340 pp. Black and white art reproductions throughout, with a few in color at the rear. A catalogue raisonne presenting 536 lithographs and 19 etchings, all of the work known by Spruance. With a detailed look at the art, method, techniques and themes employed by the artist. Benton Murdoch Spruance was an American artist and printmaker, perhaps best known in the Philadelphia area. His work documented American culture and won many prizes. VERY GOOD condition. Minor fading and rubbing to the jacket, with a hint of soiling. Book with very minor wear.
