New York: D. Appleton & Company, 1892. Hardcover; large 8vo; 1079 pages. FIRST EDITION, in the second state (according to R.J. Wolfe). Half bount in dark leather with pebbled side-cloth. The leather is quite scuffed. Rubbed and drying around edges, flaking in some cases. Exposed boards at corners, and at cloth edges, which is also rubbed and fraying. Heavy shelfwear. Red speckled edges, yellowed. Cracked hinges. The pages are yellowed but still quite bright and clean. Several pages dog-eared. Missing some ads at rear, but included ads are dated September 1892. P/--. First Edition. Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket.
