The text is illustrated with three inserts, of eight pages each, of either colour or black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Green coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with orange and black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. A history of the Princes of Wales; from the first in 1301 - Edward of Caernarfon to Prince Charles in the 20th century. Rubbing of the book edges with softening of the back strip. Very light age toning of the text block edges. Previous owner's rubber stamp to the top right hand corner of the free front end page. A little creasing of the dustwrapper edges with rubbing also present. Fading of the back strip, top edge of the rear panel and a little to the left hand edge of the front panel.
