About This Item

London: Robert Hale, 1968. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Signed by Author(s). First Edition. 8vo. Gift inscription from the author to the front end paper "For Vera All good wishes & love from Victorian Holt Dec. 1968" (seems the author forgot under which psuedonym she writing). 318 pages. Original dust jacket good, with some general wear and rubbing, chipped to head of the spine some old water-staining to the rear panel and underside, not price-clipped, now attractively presented in a loose-fitting clear archival sleeve. Hard-back binding, very good. Contents good and tight, end papers slightly marked, paper toned, a little spotting to page edges. A very good first edition copy, signed by the author..
