Brown linen spine with gilt lettering with textured and patterned papered boards.Undated[1926],Title page, frontispiece, viii, 134 pages. , 141 illustrations, including a map of the region concerned, 140 monochrome photographs of examples from the collection of the Barnes Foundation at Merion, Pennsylvania.8 X 10.75 inches. There is a little wear to the cloth at the spine ends, the corners are also worn through the paper covering revealing fraying and bent board corners.The paper of the boards appears to be a handmade and printed paper, and is colour faded along the top margin of both boards.Overall quite a good copy, all quite sound, good firm binding, all complete and quite clean throughout.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket.
