About This Item
No place of publication [presumably Los Angeles]: Rock-Price Productions, n.d. [1955]. Four pages, printed in black and white and pink, “Africa Explodes with Naked Terror! Sex-Crazed Natives on the Rampage! In Flaming Color!” This promotional booklet, often termed an “exploitation” booklet (an especially apt term in this case). While he film’s basis was a serious documentary, it was tarted up into an exploitation film with luridly pictured naked women and terrorizing natives. This booklet boasts of glowing reviews and extensive bookings. A classic for all the wrong reasons. Excellent condition.
