About This Item
New York: United States Publishing Company, 1869. First edition. Loose_leaf. Very Good. 8 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches. Double page fold out engraving. Lightly foxed and lightly waterstained on lower 2 to 3 inches. A very nice engraving depicting operations during the pre-Industrial Revolution age of steam. Interestingly, all the workers are finely dressed women, with a single male in the foreground (delivering printed sheets of currency).
