About This Item

The President's Lady is a 1951 best-seller by the American novelist Irving Stone (1903-1989). In 1953, it was made into a film starring Charlton Heston and Susan Hayward.

In this acclaimed biographical novel, Irving Stone brings to life the tender and poignant love story of Rachel and Andrew Jackson. "Beyond any doubt one of the great romances of all time." -- The Saturday Review of Literature
No dust jacket. It is very plain, light gray boards with brilliant gold lettering on the spine.

The book is in near-perfect condition. Aside from some foxing to a couple of the pages, and two little nicks at the top of the spine (shelf-wear) everything is clean and clear and there is no interior damage of any kind.
