About This Item
A slim but very good publication on the distribution of prehistoric earthen enclosures in the Southeast and Ohio River Valley, and investigations of some at the famous Marksville site in Louisiana. It reports fieldwork and mapping carried out in 1993, adding to the wealth of knowledge that studies at Marksville have yielded. A solid contribution to Hopewellian studies, useful to anyone interested in the fascinating prehistoric Hopewell Culture. In fine condition, with former owner's name stamped on bottom edge and title page. Otherwise unmarked. Stapled binding.
