Constable And Company Limited, 1934. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1934. First Edition. 802 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth covered boards with gilt. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Heavy cracking at the hinges with exposed binding material. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate tanning to spine. Loss of cloth to spine tail.
