About This Item
First Edition. A translation of a collection of essays regarding the founder of Hasidism. A combination of theology and folklore. The Baal Shem Tov was a religious leader in Eastern Europe in the middle of the 18th century. He did not write down his teachings, his diciples did. This book is the most comprehensive work regarding early Hasidism. The book is in fine, like new condition. The dust jacket has very minor shelf wear and is near fine.

About mark mcdonald
Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
