London: Horne, Thornthwaite, & Wood. Poor with No dust jacket as issued. 1852. 1st UK edition. Hardcover. Publisher's olive cloth with gilt lettering and blindstamped decoration. Light edgewear and soil, bumped corners, and uneven toning. A few small chips of spine cloth missing. Binding is separated at half-title and rear gutter; old scotch-tape repairs along gutters at boards and some of the first/last pages. Small chips/tears to first/last few pages. Interior lightly toned and foxed. Small simple engravings of equipment used for gold testing. No ownership marks, stickers or stamps. Not ex-library. ; 16mo 6" - 7" tall; 71 pages .
