Modernist art critic/art historian Fried's first full-length collection of poems, published while he was associate professor of fine arts at Harvard (as of this writing, he is the J.R. Herbert Boone professor of humanities and art history at Johns Hopkins University). Inscription reads, "12.x.73/to Ken,/with love & admiration,/Michael". Blue cloth w/gilt spine lettering, 60 pages. A bit of wear to corners/spine ends, sunning to top edge, covers moderately warped, in moderately edgeworn dust jacket w/short edge tears, moderately sunned spine, small scrape to spine, a bit of chipping to corners/spine ends, light soil, general wear..
