About This Item

London: George Allen & Unwin Ltd, 1924. Cloth. Very Good. 8" by 5.5". None. A smart third impression of this translated copy of Nietzsche's Will to Power, Volume I: Books I and II only. Third impression. Limited to four thousand five hundred copies, of which this is number three thousand three hundred and forty-seven. Volume fourteen of The Complete Works of Friedrich Nietzsche, Volume one of The Will to Power, Books I and II only. Describing what Nietzsche may have believed was the main driving force in humans, a self-determination which coincides heavily with egoism. Exploring the concept of actualizing one's will onto one's self or surroundings. Written by Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, a German philosopher whose work spans philosophical polemics, poetry, cultural criticism, and fiction. Translated by Anthony Mario Ludovici, a British philosopher, sociologist, social critic and polyglot. In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot and minor age toning to the endpapers. Bookseller's label to the front endpaper. Very Good
