Number line in the work reads as follows: 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1; above this line is stated "First edition, May, 1995." Volume itself has black covers with sharp gilt lettering on the spine. Some light bumping at the top of the spine. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. There is some edge and corner wear and some tears at the top of the back cover near the spine. All in all, a rather nice, author signed, first edition, copy.
