Quarto. 164 pages. 26 mounted colour plates with captioned tissue guards, textual decorations, pictorial endpapers and cover design all by Kay Nielsen. Original green pictorial vellum gilt. Top edge gilt.One of 500 numbered copies signed by the artist.Endpapers spotted. Covers bowed and lacking the ribbon ties. Fading to spine and front cover, while the rear cover seems to have undergone an attempt to strengthen the original green. Very good; the plates are fine.
