10-1/2 by 14 inches. First edition, paperback issue (with a numberline ending in 1). A touch of wear to the corners, but a fine copy. This copy is inscribed to a late literary critic and fellow Melville aficionado: "For Harrison Hayford-from Maurice Sendak May 91.
