About This Item
Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover. Fair. Octavo. 329pp. A fair copy in yellow cloth without dj. . Cocked, fraying at the crown and base. Tipped in is a letter from Williams to Heath McClung Steele , 40 lines typed dated 1/16/1937 enclosed in a stamped envelope. Envelope is tipped in, letter is laid in, discussing his hectic schedule speaking to Council of Foreign Relations because Salvador Madariaga couldn't make it and "soundly heckled by Reds and (I don't mean Red Indians)" The book is clearly rough but the letter is great.
