Pictorial cloth backed boards, with colour illustration of American Eagle on front and b/w photograph of a family at The Rocking Stone to rear board, 192 pp., [2], plus ads on rear pastedown, colour map of New York Zoological Park, frontispiece of polar bear, plus numerous illustrations of animals and park in-text. Boards somewhat soiled, small tear to paper on to middle front board and edges, otherwise a nice copy. This revised and extended edition of the Zoo’s guidebook contains information on the completion of the Eagle Aviary and Zebra House.
