London: Macmillan and co, 1890. Third edition, revised and enlarged (hardback). 12mo (19cm by 13cm), xix, 744pp. Original brown morocco spine, brown cloth boards, gilt titling to the spine, top edge gilt. The spine is heavily rubbed, there is some bumping tot he corners of the boards, and the endpapers are foxed. Only a good minus copy overall, but suitable as a reading, working or reference copy.
