Marbled paper covered boards, dark green cloth spine, paper cover and spine labels with title and author, stain to paper title label, light soiling to cover, light shelf wear to foot of spine, rubbing along bottom edge of boards, staining to top and bottom and deckled fore edges, illustrated with a frontispiece, toning to pages. First edition. Good condition. Dust jacket is price-clipped, soiled and stained on front cover, foxing to spine, sun fading overall, now covered in archival mylar. Good condition. Please refer to pictures for condition.
Illustrated with frontispiece portrait of the author. The book has "essays on fishing with a fly, fishing with a worm, and revisiting a river, written with enthusiasm and revealing that gentle and natural wisdom, that contagious philosophy, that rare humor, of which Bliss Perry is a master." It details salmon and fly fishing in New Brunswick.
