About This Item

Great Britain: Collins, 1955. Unpaginated, 10 1/4" H. Charming colour and b&w illustrations throughout. "Christmas was approaching and all the Woodland Folk were busy with their preparations. Every creature in the whole wood seemed happy and excited - except one - and that one was Pookie, the little white rabbit with wings. In Pookie's little rabbit mind there was a big question which filled him with unhappiness. 'Was there really a Santa Claus?' Belinda, Wigglenose, Nommy-Nee and even Wise Elf said, 'Yes, of course there must be!' but nobody had any proof. So, all by himself, Pookie set out to find Santa Claus!" Book has a light musty odour, light edge wear - mostly at the top/bottom of the spine and at the corners. Dust jacket has several medium sized pieces missing, several tears, some heavy creases, some clour off-setting on the rear panel, protected in a removable mylar sleeve.. Not Signed. Third Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good-/Fair. Illus. by Ivy L. Wallace..
