Devoted to films made in Poland after the Second World War on the fine arts (including “spatial arts” and “show arts”) and artistic culture. The Introduction notes, “Compared against the average world output, Poland’s achievement is generally acclaimed as considerable and multifarious, both in subject and in form” (67). Includes more than 400 film descriptions and production details in English, German, and French, with numerous stills and images throughout. With Telefilm Canada/Los Angeles business card laid in. Uncommon, with only three copies found in OCLC (Notre Dame, MOMA, and Margaret Herrick Library).
