This is a treasure trove of Pogo comic books first published as newspaper comic strips. Conceived and drawn by Disney-trained Walt Kelly, Pogo and his coterie of swamp pals will bring a smile to your face, if not some laugh out-loud humor to your day.
Bindings are intact and there are no internal markings. Some soilng to paper boards and fading to cover illustrations. Corners bumped. Free end paper in Pogo's Body Politic is loose, but still attached. Copyright dates are as follows: Pogo, 1951 (Fifteenth Printing - Stated), Pogo's Body Politic,1972 (Full number line 1-10), Pogo's Re-Runs: Some Reflections on Elections,1974 (3rd Printing), Impollutable Pogo 1970 (Sixth Printing).
