New York: The Baker and Taylor Company (although the bottom of the spine states Doubleday Page & Co.) First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Olive green cloth with gilt stamped borders and lettering; top edges gilt. a George Hood watercolor print has been pasted to the front panel and another serves as the colored frontis. Illustrated throughout with reproduced prints and photographs. The gilt spine lettering is faded and has lost about half of the intensity. The interior has a starting front hinge, else, is in very good condition.
