Pages are moderately tanned, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Some occasional foxing, particularly at the end. Patch of insect damage up until the contents page. Page iv becoming loose.Presentation plate to front paste-down. Hinges are cracked. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. A small amount of peeling and loss to leather at spine joints. Staining and scratching to boards. Gilt darkened. Mild crushing to spine ends.
