A lovely collection of the poetical works of the Irish poet, singer, songwriter, and entertainer Thomas Moore, best remembered for the lyrics of "The Minstrel Boy" and for his role as Lord Byron's named literary executor. In a full polished calf binding, with attractive marbled endpapers and gilt page edges. Featuring a portrait frontispiece of Moore complete with a facsimile of his signature, and an attractive illustrated title page. In a full polished calf binding with gilt border to boards and gilt embellishment in spine. Externally, rubbed to extremities, joints, and head and tail of spines. Several handling marks to boards. Slight fading to spine. Internally firmly bound, slightly strained in places. Pages slightly age toned to edges but bright and clean throughout. The odd spot to the occasional page, heavier to first and last few pages. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
