Philadelphia: E. H. Butler & Co, 1855. Bound in Full Leather. This book is bound in full leather, intricately blind stamped boards, with 5 raised bands to the spine. All edges gilt. Measuring approximately 8.25" x 5.75" with 356 numbered pages.
This book is in good minus condition. Moderate bumping and scuffing to both ends of spine and all edges of book. Moderate scuffing to both boards. Minor scuffing to all gilt edges of textblock. Front hinge is cracked. Moderate paper damage to front endpaper. Notations on front endpaper in pencil. Moderate staining and foxing to interior pages. Rear hinge cracked.
Henry Kirke White was an English poet and hymn-writer. He died at the young age of 21.
