Dark brown cloth with embossed spine and cover titles "Holmes's Poems" with ornate gilt-stamped decoration. Blind-stamped decoration on back cover. Boards have bevelled edges. Dark brown endpapers. Publisher's catalog of works by the author on page facing title page. Small bookplate on front fixed endpaper: "Property of the Central High School." In Good Condition: edges rubbed; minor loss and fraying at ends of spine and corners; occasional minor finger soiling in margins; otherwise, clean and solid.
