Boston: Small, Maynard & Co, 1917. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Poetic criticism of major and minor poets of the 19th Century, includingEdwin A. Robinson, Edgar Lee Masters, Amy Lowell, Tagore, Conrad Aiken and many others. Original grey boards with a blue cloth spine, paper labels on front and spine in fine condition. Slight edgewear, mostly at the spine ends, and top edge gilt. Inside, very clean and tight. No prior owner marks. Doubtful that this copy has been read, as some page outer edges remain uncut. .
