About This Item
Very Good Leatherette Edition of Modern Library/Boni Liveright; nd: 1918-1924. Without the jacket, precise date cannot be determined. Issued before 1925, since it does NOT display the "torchbearer" logo added in 1925 and displayed on all subsequent Modern Library editions. It does retain the Gothic BL logo, signifying pre-1925 editions. Style 2 flexible black leatherette binding with gilt titles and design. Blue tint at top page edges still vivid. Pages unmarked, yet edges moderately toned. Very light soft creases to spine. A somewhat uncommon B&L issue. W.B.Yeats, who was very much influenced by Blake, selected these exemplary poems and wrote the introduction. Jacket is missing. 3--b
