Eton College,, 1946]. 4to., on laid paper; full vellum, upper board blocked with college crest in gilt, gilt back, gilt top, a near fine copy. Privately printed for Eton College in the Riccardi Press fount of the Medici Society. This edition was issued as a leaving gift. This copy was presented to Martin William Frederick Maxse by Robert Bailey in 1953. Colonel Martin William Frederick Maxse (1935 - ) was educated at Eton and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst. He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Coldstream Guards between 1981 and 1984 and was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Devon in 1995
