Funk & Wagnalls, 1954. Later Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. A nice Association copy, inscribed by Adams to fellow poet William Matchett on the ffep, with his bookplate and date as well. Also laid in loose is a Christmas card from Adams to Matchett (from 1963). A Near Fine copy in a Very Good dust jacket, with the belly-wrapper announcing the book winning the 1954 Bollingen Prize in Poetry (light edgewear) // Leonie Adams was a Sustaning Patron of the Poetry Northwest magazine while Matchett was Editor.
