George Bell, 1900. 1st Thus. Hardcover. VG+. HEATH ROBINSON, W.. 1st Thus. 13.5 x 20.9 cm khaki cloth with green and gilt decoration and titles to the front and spine with the publisher's divice to the spine. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut, pictorial endpapers, xxxv [iii] 225 [3]pp with black line illustrations including tissue guarded frontispiece by William Heath-Robinson. There is some toning to the spine, a little rubbing to the spine tips with a hint of fraying at the head of the spine and a touch of bruising to the corners, more so to the top two. Internally clean, without name, inscription or bookplate and with just a touch of toning to the uncut edges. All in all a very good looking 1st Edition of the Heath-Robinson illustrated Poems of Edgar Allen Poe with beautiful Art Nouveau illustrations. A difficult to find book.
