About This Item
Hardbound with no dust jacket as probably published. Red cloth boards with Goldsmith's name in gilt. Much gilt on the spine. Some fading of the red cloth on the spine. Overall, the book is in very good condition, with the exception of the front, lower tip has been damaged (see picture). The tips of pages all around are gilt. Name of previous owner on first end page with date of April 1884. The title page has come loose from the book but is still in the book. Pages are clean, not torn (other than the title page) and the corners are not bent. Spine is tight. Nonsmoking. This book has been carefully passed down from Grandfather to Grandson who donated it to The Friends of our local library where the proceeds of the sale will go.
