Oxford at the Clarendon Press, 1963. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 347 pages, with indexes of poems and epitaphs, first lines, persons. Includes Preface to the first edition (1927) and a short one to this version dated 1951. Two portrait plates, one other illustration - facsimiile of the 1681 folio. 8vo, dark blue cloth with rubbed-away gilt lettering, wear to boards especially at crown and heel, front hinge cracked at title page. This copy belonged to Prof. Ann E. Berthoff (author of The Resolved Soul: A Study of Marvell's Major Poems), her name written on front free end paper, her list of Biblical references on second rear end paper, her marginalia on approximately 20 pages in the front-matter and commentary (at the end) sections, none within the poems.
